Hi, welcome to my page! I'm an emerging author working on my first novel.

I was recently selected to be a mentee in the NZ Society of Authors 2024 Mentorship programme (supported by Creative New Zealand), for which I'm delighted and thankful.

I grew up in Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa (Auckland, New Zealand) before living in Australia, Canada, and the USA, returning in 2012. I have raced a yacht from Australia to Japan, worked on ski fields in Canada, and was living in America during 9/11. I've done several extreme sports, including ice climbing and white water kayaking, but these days I tend to dabble in surfing and yoga.

I'm a prolific reader, and my love of the English language found expression in short stories and acting in short films and theatre. It wasn't until recently that I was encouraged to write and discover my voice, so I'm excited (and nervous!) to be writing my first novel.
